Chaand nikley kisi jaanib teri zaibaai ka
Rung badley kisi soorat shab-e-tanhaai ka

Daulat-e-lub se phir aai khusraw-e-shireen-dahan
Aaj rizaa ho koi harf-shanaasaai ka

Deeda-o-dil ko sambhaalo ke sar-e-shaam-e-firaaq
Saaz-o-Saamaan baham puhuncha hai ruswaai ka
