Shair ke pardey mein main ne gham sunaaya hai bohot
Marsiye ney dil ko mere bhi rulaaya hai bhot

Waadi-o-kohsaar mein rota hun daarein maar-maar
Dilbaraan-e-sheher ney mujh ko sataaya hai bohot

Waa nahi ho sakta kisi sey dil-girefta ishq ka
Zaahiraa ghamgeen usey rehna khush aaya hai bohot
